19th OCTOBER 2011 “NOT NOW DARLING”

A MAD COW PRODUCTION (MCP)

‘WOW’

This evening we attended the opening night of the Mad Cow Production of “Not Now Darling” the 1960s West End hit Comedy. This amature production was proffesionally carried out to the enth degree. Having been in London in the 60s and seen this show in the West End I can honestly say that it was just as good as it was back then, and even made my face ache more with laughing so much.

Above we are back stage meeting the cast and all those who work behind the scenes that make this a show of such quality. There is always someone who I feel that I should know, met before kind of feeling and that was the case this evening. I am almost certain that the person on the left of the picture who plays the flamboyant Gilbert Bodley, AK Robert Hinton. I am sure that during my time working for Northern Foods we crossed paths. I will have to check this out and let you know.

We have only one complaint and that was we felt that time went to fast as we both could of staayed all night enjoying such a fantastic show, I felt guilty feeling so relaxed with such good company. I do think that if you have a chance and there are tickets available then you should pop along and watch this show and I will guarantee you will really enjoy you evening entertainment put on by Mad Cow Productions.

I  supose that you could now class both Tricia and myself as MCP Groupies, and we both look forward to their next show that I think is “The Drowsy Chaperone” at Theatre Severn from the 18th to 21st April 2012. But that is next year as for this show it runs for the next three nights with an afternoon performance as well on Saturday 22nd October. All of the shows 20th, 21st and 22nd evening shows start at 7.30pm with the Saturday 22nd afternoon show starting at 2.30pm.

This evenings show was attended by around 150 people, a good opening night, I really hope that they have a full house for the rest of this run as if they dont so many people will have missed the perfect show in the perfect setting.
